Severin Sea Lodge is an oasis of piece and relaxation amidst a spacious palm garden. It is located on the beautiful, pristine and sandy Bamburi Beach directly on the shores of the Indian Ocean.
The hotel is lovingly built in a traditional African design: The round bungalows, the main building, the newly built modern deluxe rooms and the two swimming pools harmoniously fit into the spacious palm garden. The hotel has 188 rooms and including suites equipped with hand-made wooden furniture and designed in natural style.
There are three restaurants, and three bars among them the famous Swing Bar. For more than 45 years Severin Sea Lodge has been known for its hospitality by many repeating guests who enjoy the excellent cuisine and the friendly and attentive service. The Safari restaurant offering ala carte, the Kisima Buffet Restaurant with its incredible view overlooking the Indian Ocean for breakfast and dinner and the IMANI Dhow Restaurant which is an old stranded Dhow with award-winning seafood and steaks cuisine.
The pulsating seaport Mombasa is situated only 12 km away from the hotel. It’s a 20 km drive to the airport, about 45 minutes by car. Mombasa is the second largest city of Kenya and famous for its fortress Fort Jesus, the Elephant Tusks and gateway to Tsavo East and West Game Parks.
